<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which is miniaturized more easily than conventional ones. <P>SOLUTION: An optical connector 100 includes: a housing 103 holding an optical member 101; a slider 105 slidably held on the housing 103; a shutter 107 which is provided in the slider 105 so as to be able to open and close and exposes/shuts out the optical member 101 to/from the outside by opening/closing; and a slider-side coil spring 109 which presses the slider 105 in a direction where the slider 105 is moved away from the housing 103. The slider-side coil spring 109 is disposed in a breadthwise direction of the shutter 107, and the optical connector 100 is configured so that the shutter 107 is closed as the slider 105 is moved away from the housing 103 in a direction A1 by elastic force of the slider-side coil spring 109, and is opened as the slider 105 is moved toward the housing 103 against the elastic force of the slider-side coil spring 109. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
