<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic signboard system and an electronic signboard alive checking method capable of timely transmitting a content to a display terminal while preventing congestion of communication due to an alive management. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic signboard system includes: a display terminal for displaying a content, or a display content; an operation terminal for delivering the content; and an application server that stores the content delivered from the operation terminal, performs the alive management by sequentially elongating a time interval of the alive management of the communication with the display terminal in such a manner not to exceed a threshold, and transmits the content to the display terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
