<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning member which can prevent a coating liquid that was removed from an applicator during a cleaning process from sticking again to the applicator by outflowing along the cleaning member with increasing outflow speed, and which can prevent abnormality in coating film thickness or a defect of a coating film surface from being caused, without leaving the coating liquid, a cleaning solvent, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning member has a first surface and a second surface which face to each other and slides in one direction of an applicator while staying in contact with a discharge port surface of a discharge port extending in the one direction and both adjacent surfaces to the discharge port surface to perform cleaning of the discharge port surface and the both adjacent surfaces. The cleaning member comprises a cleaning part which is provided on the first surface side and touches the discharge port surface and the both adjacent surfaces at the same time, and plural outflow route surfaces which start at the cleaning part and extend to the second surface side, each of the outflow route surfaces being provided with a notch 220 at the second surface side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
