<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in thermogenic properties and ozone resistance, and to provide a tire using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the rubber composition, comprising: a rubber component that contains an olefin-diene copolymer having low unsaturation degree; and a compound that has a moiety Q containing dipolar nitrogen as a dispersion improver, and a 4-6 nitrogen-containing heterocyclic moiety B containing oxygen or sulfur.
