PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imidazo[4,5-c]pyridine compound; and to provide a method of antiviral treatment.

SOLUTION: The compound 5-((3-(2,4-trifluoromethyphenyl)isoxazol-5-yl)methyl)-2-(25-fluorophenyl)-5H-imidazo[4,5-c]pyridine, together with the salts and solvates thereof. Also provided are compositions comprising this compound and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, as well as the use of such compositions in the treatment or prophylaxis of viral infections.
