<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with which, an operation for adjusting the front and back of a seat position is simple and the position after the adjustment can be stably maintained, while an armrest does not hinder the tilting motion of the support rod for a backrest. <P>SOLUTION: The chair includes: a leg 3; a support base 5 fixed to the leg 3; a support rod 9 for the backrest, formed so as to be capable of tilting toward the lower side on the back side, having a front end part pivotally attached to the support base 5 with a spindle 8 in a right and left direction, and provided with an upwardly faced support rod 11 for a seat at a position rearer to the spindle 8; a backrest 6 supported by the support rod 9 for the backrest and capable of tilting toward the front and back facing the support base 5; a guide rail 13 having a front part supported by the support base 5 in a movable manner in the front and back direction, and a back part connected to the support rod 11 through an axis facing the right and left direction; a seat 7 mounted to the guide rail 13 in a slidable manner in the front and back direction; and an armrest 10 having a lower end fixed to the forward part at the lower part of the support rod 9 in the lower part of the seat 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
