The device (1) has a loop (2) attached to a support (21) e.g. rail, and another loop (5) attached to a cover i.e. curtain (20), where the loops are connected to each other and formed by a continuous wire (7). A controlled opening (3) is formed inside the former loop in a retaining region (4) for connecting the two loops. A retaining opening (6) is formed in the latter loop by overlapping free ends (8) of the continuous wire, where the retaining opening is movable from a closed state to an open state under the action of thrust exerted from inside to outside of the latter loop. An independent claim is also included for a method for installation of a device for fastening a cover element and a support.
