The mechanism has a cam (22) mounted on a wing (12) and provided with a protrusion (24) and a return portion (26). A handle (32) is pivotally mounted on another wing (14). A U-shaped part comprises two legs and a lockable connecting unit for receiving the two legs to close the U-shaped part. The U-shaped part is installed between a free end (34) of the handle and the former wing. The legs are engaged with each other through the lockable connecting unit so as to clasp the free end of the handle between the former wings and the return portion.
