The device (D) has a control unit (MC) for sequentially and automatically instructing a heating/air conditioning system (IC) to deliver hot air to a windscreen (PB) of a vehicle (V), a front cleaning circuit (CN1) to spray a cleaning liquid on an outer surface of the windscreen, and a front windscreen wiper (EG1) to clean the surface of the windscreen during activation of the control unit. The control unit instructs a rear cleaning circuit (CN2) to spray the liquid on an outer surface of a rear window (LA) of the vehicle, where the liquid contains anti-freezing agent.
