<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to predict a final pointing location on a touch screen by using location information of proximity touch. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(151) includes a touch screen. A sensing unit senses input of two or more first and second proximity touches. The proximity touches are progressed in a direction which is not vertical to a screen. A control unit calculates information according to a location of the sensed first and second proximity touches. The control unit controls an operation of a portable terminal based on the location information of the calculated first and second proximity touches.</p> |
