PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method of a display panel are provided to reduce noise due to voltage variation in a power supply line by providing a compensation control current based on the variation of a current flowing through the device. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(100) includes a plurality of pixels(P1-Pq). The pixels are connected to a plurality of gate lines(GL1-GLn), a plurality of data lines(DL1-DLm), and a plurality of storage lines(BL1-BLn). A drive unit successively applies a gate single to the gate lines. The drive unit applies a data voltage to the data lines. The drive unit selectively applies a boost signal to the storage lines. The drive unit reduces the distribution of a white color coordinate.
