PURPOSE: A device and a method for sharing route information of a navigation system is provided to enhance the concentration of a driver on a driving because a device changes destination information by cooperating to other navigation terminals in a group. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for sharing route information of a navigation system comprises a group cooperation unit(102) and a service providing unit(104). The group cooperation unit is connected to navigation terminals around a device. The service providing unit requests cooperation service to the connected navigation terminals around the device. The cooperation service comprises at least one among these; sharing destination information, providing a current location, and a remotely controlling the navigation terminals around the device. The device cooperates with the navigation terminals around the device by exchanging cooperation information with the selected navigation terminals after the group cooperation unit selects the navigation terminals from a list of the navigation terminals to group the navigation terminals. The cooperation information comprises navigation identifying information.
