<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently raise the temperature of lubricating oil at low temperature, when a rotating shaft of an internal combustion engine is supported by a radial slide bearing through lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: When the temperature of lubricating oil that is at low temperature is raised, of the outer circumferential sides of a radial slide bearing 30 in a bearing retaining part 13, heat is not supplied from the heating medium in a heating medium flow path 32 at the outer circumferential side of the halved bearing metal 31A in the bearing retaining body main part 20, which has large thermal capacity; instead, heat is supplied from the heating medium in the heating medium flow path 32 at the outer circumferential side of the halved bearing metal 31B in a cap 21, which has small thermal capacity. Thus, it is possible to suppress the dispersion of the heat supplied from the heating medium in the heating medium flow path 32 into the bearing retaining body main part 20 having large thermal capacity, and with respect to a heat quantity supplied from the heating medium in the heating medium flow path 32, it is possible to increase the proportion of the heat that is used to raise the temperature of the lubricating oil supplied to the gap between the radial slide bearing 30 and a crank journal 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
