<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rear surface protection sheet for a solar cell module which has excellent characteristics, such as heat resistance, weather resistance, hydrolysis resistance, moisture resistance, and lightness, that can withstand harsh natural environment for a long time, dramatically improves gas barrier property preventing the intrusion of water vapor (moisture), oxygen, and the like, and has durability that maintains power output characteristics for a long term. <P>SOLUTION: A gas barrier film (Ia) has a vapor-deposited layer formed by inorganic compounds on one surface of a film base material, and a gas barrier film (II) has a vapor-deposited layer, which is formed by inorganic compounds and has the vapor deposition thickness being more than two times thicker than the gas barrier film (Ia), on one surface of the film base material.
