METER-READING DATA TRANSMISSION CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM OF COMMUNICATION UNIT, COMMUNICATION UNIT, AND METER-READING DATA COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter-reading data transmission control method of a communication unit for transmitting meter-reading data outputted from a sensor from a communication unit and restoring the meter-reading data at a collection server, and to prevent generation of congestion in a network collecting meter-reading data from the sensor and increase in a server load.

SOLUTION: A difference between a change amount of a meter-reading value notified last time and a change amount of a meter-reading value calculated on the basis of the last time meter-reading value and a this time meter-reading value, is calculated (S509-S513). When the calculated difference exceeds a predetermined threshold, meter-reading data corresponding to the meter-reading value is stored in a transmission buffer, and transmission processing is performed (S513 → S514 and S515).
