<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence probability of the failure of an image blur correction device in a monitoring camera. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring camera includes a shake detection device detecting the shake of the monitoring camera, a first vibration-proof device 21 having a first correction lens 16 correcting an image blur caused by the shake, a second vibration-proof device 22 having a second correction lens, and a controller controlling these devices. The first vibration-proof device 21 is always operated and driven by a first horizontal actuator 23 and a first vertical actuator 24. The second vibration-proof device 22 is a preliminary vibration-proof device operated instead of the first vibration-proof device 21, when the first vibration-proof device 21 has a failure and driven by a second horizontal actuator 25 and a second vertical actuator 26. A first horizontal position sensor 27 and a first vertical position sensor 28 are provided in the first vibration-proof device 21 and similarly, a horizontal position sensor and a vertical position sensor are provided in the second vibration-proof device 22 as well. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
