摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for recovering lithium from a solution obtained by leaching a fired product including a positive electrode material of a lithium ion secondary battery with water, and containing ions of lithium and fluorine, sulfuric acid, etc., by continuously and simultaneously purifying and concentrating lithium. <P>SOLUTION: An electrolytic cell is partitioned between an insoluble anode and a cathode with a plurality of diaphragms to keep concentration differences between cations and anions in the partitioned chambers, and while uniform concentration is kept in each chamber, a concentration gradient of ions is maintained from the anode side to the cathode side.
