<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can read an image printed on a target recording medium and clean a reading part. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal printer 100 includes: a thermal head 16 for printing an image on recording paper 1; a scanner 30 for reading an image printed on the recording paper 1; and a correction bar 40 which has a white reference chart 41 and is disposed oppositely to the scanner 30 while interposing a conveyance path 3 therebetween. In addition, the thermal printer 100 includes: a contact/separation mechanism 50 which brings the correction bar 40 and scanner 30 into contact with each other and separates them from each other by moving the correction bar 40; and a cleaner 70 for cleaning the reading face 30a of the scanner 30 linked with the movement of the correction bar 40 by the contact/separation mechanism 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
