<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which a communication apparatus can transmit a suitable frame in accordance with a network when the communication apparatus is connected to the existing network. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional device 10 is newly connected to a LAN 4 to which PC 100, 110 are connected. The multifunctional device 10 performs TCP communication with the PC 100 to acquire a reference MSS value (4000 bytes), which is an MSS value of the PC 100, from the PC 100. The multifunctional device 10 changes the MSS value of the multifunctional device 10 from a current MSS value (1460 bytes) to the reference MSS value (4000 bytes). Then, when transmitting audio data to the PC 110 by UDP communication with the PC 110, the multifunctional device 10 generates a transmission frame which contains the audio data using the changed MSS value (4000 bytes) to transmit the transmission frame to the PC 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
