<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quay crane capable of suppressing accidents such as a falling down of the quay crane and destruction of a travelling device even if a large-scale earthquake (for instance, level 2 earthquake) occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The quay crane 1 includes: an auxiliary leg 4 that is installed on the lateral of the travelling device 2; a slide board 5 that is disposed at a downward position of the auxiliary leg 4 and an upward position of a quay 40; and a connecting device 24 that connects the slide board 5 with the quay crane 1. The quay crane 1 is constituted so that the auxiliary leg 4 grounds the quay 40 via the slide board 5 to lift up the quay crane 1 and to make the connecting device 24 release the connection between the quay crane 1 and the slide board 5 when an earthquake occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
