<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe using piezoelectric ceramics, in which the resonance ability of the organic piezoelectric material is not decreased, a harmonic wave can be received, and the band of a reception signal can be widened when organic piezoelectric materials are accumulated and used as an acoustic matching layer and also receive the harmonic wave. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: a groove filling member for filling a gap of the inorganic piezoelectric material and a gap of the acoustic matching layer, the groove filling member being formed with an organic material that has an acoustic impedance lower than the organic piezoelectric material; and a common electrode formed on the organic piezoelectric material and an individual electrode arranged across the organic piezoelectric material with the common electrode. The individual electrode is arranged being divided into an arrangement direction of the inorganic piezoelectric material, and formed covering at least the groove filling member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
