NATURAL VIBRATION ADJUSTING MECHANISM OF WAVE POWER PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave power plant that adjusts a natural period (natural frequency) in accordance with a changing wave period.

SOLUTION: This wave power plant 1 includes a weight 3 installed in a floating body 2 via a spring 4 and linearly reciprocating in accordance with a change of a water surface 7, and a generator 8 for generating electric power by being driven based on the reciprocating linear motion of the weight 3. The wave power plant includes an additional mass body 6 for adding mass to mass of the weight 3. The additional mass body 6 has a moving weight allowing a radial position to be adjusted. Additional mass can be adjusted by adjusting the radial position of the moving weight.
