<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a printing time by reducing an influence of a starting time of a scanner motor on the printing time in an image forming apparatus performing calibration. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a control section 136 for controlling that a rotation speed of a laser scanner motor 204 becomes 40,000 rpm when performing the image formation. The control section 136 executes a simple calibration by rotating the laser scanner motor 204 at 20,000 rpm in which the rotation speed is slower than 40,000 rpm and a rising time is shorter than the rising time till reaching 40,000 rpm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
