<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quay crane capable of suppressing an accident in which the quay crane falls down and an accident in which a travelling device is broken even in the case a large scale earthquake (for example, a level 2 earthquake) happens. <P>SOLUTION: The quay crane 1 has a crashable area 4 and an auxiliary foot 5 in which an upper end is arranged above the crashable area 4, the crashable area 4 has a supporting pin 57, a long hole 11 whose longitudinal direction is a vertical direction and through which the supporting pin 57 passes, and a fixed plate 10 fixing the supporting pin 57 to the lower side of the long hole 11 and supporting the weight of the quay crane 1, the fixing by the fixing plate 10 is released, the supporting pin 57 moves upward along the long hole 11, the crashable area 4 is shortened in a vertical direction, and the lower end of the auxiliary foot 5 comes in contact with a quay 40 to support the quay crane 1 when an earthquake happens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
