<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefying device and a carbon dioxide storage system capable of efficiently liquefying carbon dioxide gas by using a general heat transfer pipe having no coating without using an intermediate refrigerant such as chlorofluorocarbon. <P>SOLUTION: The liquefying device condenses carbon dioxide gas (b) on a surface of a cooling pipe 15 by allowing a refrigerant (a) to flow through the cooling pipe 15 disposed in a vessel 10 and by supplying carbon dioxide gas (b) into the vessel 10. The cooling pipe 15 is arranged in parallel in a plurality of numbers with vertically spaced in the vessel 10. Between cooling pipes 15 in a vertically overlapping positional relation to each other, a cover body 25 is provided to cover above the cooling pipe 15 in the lower position. Thus, carbon dioxide (b1) liquefied on the surface of the upper cooling pipe 15 is prevented from depositing again on the surface of the lower cooling pipe 15, which avoids the situation of solidification of carbon dioxide on the surface of the lower cooling pipe 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
