<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect detailed information showing a sales situation at low cost to properly acquire the sales situation in a store. <P>SOLUTION: A POS code assigned to a commodity purchased by a consumer and an individual article code assigned to the commodity are acquired, a category of the commodity is determined from previously registered categories on the basis of the acquired individual article code, the sold commodity is classified into the determined category, and commodity sales information including POS data or the like specified by the acquired POS code is stored. Accordingly, the commodity can be classified into the more detailed sales-management category as compared with the POS category, and the detailed information showing the sales situation can be collected to properly acquire the sales situation in the store. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
