<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably produce a polycarbonate resin pellet or polycarbonate resin film excellent in optical characteristics, thermostability, hue and mechanical strength with less foreign matter. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the polycarbonate resin comprises: filtering a polycarbonate resin obtained by polycondensation of a dihydroxy compound and a carbonic diester by use of a filter followed by cooling and solidifying. The dihydroxy compound includes at least a specific dihydroxy compound, the filter has an aperture of 50 μm or less, and the filtering is performed so that the temperature of the resin after filtered using the filter is 200°C or higher and lower than 280°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
