<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device having the configuration in which a touch panel is adhered to a cover glass 2 provided with a printing layer 5 for light shielding on the outer periphery thereof, the device preventing a sensitivity decline of the touch panel due to static electricity. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel substrate has a sensor electrode 6 formed, and a printing layer 5 is formed on the outer periphery of a cover glass 2 so as to surround the sensor electrode 6. The printing layer 5 is composed of a conductive material and connected to GND. In such a configuration, the printing layer 5 is made into a GND shield layer and can protect the sensor electrode 6 from external static electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
