<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key system capable of using a portable telephone as a key of a communication object without changing an existing electronic key system. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic key system 3 performs ID collation between a vehicle 2 and an electronic key 1 through wireless communication and enables a door lock and an engine of the vehicle 2 to be operated under a condition of the successful ID collation. The electronic key system 3 comprises: a key information acquisition section 41b which acquires key information IDsm1 and Ksm1 from a portable telephone 5, where the key information IDsm1 and Ksm1 necessary for the ID collation is registered, through the short distance wireless communication; and a collation execution section 41c which executes the ID collation with the vehicle 2 on behalf of the portable telephone 5 by dealing with a collation ECU 21 provided on the vehicle 2 in a same manner as the electronic key 1 using the key information IDsm1 and Ksm1 acquired by the key information acquisition section 41b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
