<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery supporting body capable of simplifying an assembly process, supporting a battery strongly, and preventing generation of powder dust at assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A battery supporting body has a pair of opposed holding parts 10 and 12 and a coupling part 16 coupling the pair of holding parts 10 and 12, and holds a battery 2 between the pair of holding parts 10 and 12 by making the pair of holding parts 10 and 12 approach each other by fixing means 3. At least a part 20 of the coupling part 16 is configured to be broken when the pair of holding parts 10 and 12 approach each other by the fixing means 3.
