<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of preventing deformation of a resin cover member, caused by biasing force of a biasing member, even when corresponding to thinning, in the sheet conveying device for conveying a sheet along a predetermined conveying passage. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine 1 has a sheet conveying unit 50 for conveying a document sheet along a sheet conveying passage R. The sheet conveying unit 50 includes a unit body 60 and an upper cover 70 installed on an upper surface of the unit body 60. The upper cover 70 is attached with a conveyance driven roller 80 for conveying by contacting with the document sheet on the sheet conveying passage R, a metallic plate member 85 having a first surface 86, a second surface 87 and a third surface 88 and a coil spring 90 for biasing the conveyance driven roller 80 to the sheet conveying passage R side. One end of the coil spring 90 contacts with a roller shaft 82 of the conveyance driven roller 80, and the other end contacts with the first surface 86 of the plate member 85 positioned on a sheet conveying passage R side surface of the upper cover 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
