<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a misoperation prevention function to an electronic apparatus such as an imaging apparatus which has no hinge mechanism usable for prevention of misoperation, without changing a waterproof structure even if having the waterproof structure. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor 20 outputs a magnetic detection signal to a sub CPU 24 if detecting the magnetic force of a magnet 18m. Receiving the magnetic detection signal, the sub CPU 24 outputs an invalidation signal invalidating operation, to a CPU 14.
