OPERATING MECHANISM OF LOCKING DEVICE INCLUDED IN SEAT MOVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating mechanism that can be inexpensively structured for switching between a locking state and a lock-off state of a locking device.

SOLUTION: The operating mechanism 10 for operating a locking device 160 installed in a seat moving device includes: a turn plate 11 turnably mounted on a guide 151b that is included in an outer sliding mechanism 150 of the seat moving device; an activating member 14 activating the turn plate 11; a fixing member 15 fixing one end of the activating member 14; and a receiving part 142c included in a lift mechanism of the seat moving device. While the outer sliding mechanism 150 moves in a direction to the outside of a vehicle compartment, the turn plate 11 of the operating mechanism 10 comes into contact with the receiving part 142c of the lift mechanism and turns.
