<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level checking device in which the insufficient state of working oil in a hydraulic vibration-proofing device can be obviously and easily confirmed and visibility for the oil level does not degrade. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic vibration-proofing device including an oil reservoir 7 having a pressure lid 8 that pressurizes a storage chamber 7a includes an oil level checking device 14. The oil level checking device 14 includes a casing 15 that penetrates the oil reservoir 7 from the outside to the inside, an operational bar 16 that air-tightly penetrates the casing 15, and a compression spring 17 that draws the operational bar 16 inward. The outside end of the operational bar 16 includes an alarm display part that appears and disappears on the outer face of the oil reservoir 7. The inside end of the operational bar 16 faces the protruding piece 8a of the pressure lid 8. The operational bar 16 is drawn and held inside the casing 15 by the compression spring 17 while the working oil keeps a state of an appropriate amount, and the alarm display part is hidden.
