<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of capturing a still image at a time when movie recording is performed by subsequent operation even if the movie recording is performed by erroneous operation. <P>SOLUTION: Still image data generated in response to a recording start instruction of movie data are recorded by associating with the movie data.
