<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variation of characteristics of an electrochemical gas sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An electrochemical gas sensor includes: a discoid metal bottom member 4; a cylindrical metal side face member 10 which extends along an axis direction of the bottom member 4 so as to surround the circumference of the bottom member 4; a ring-like gasket 12 which consists of polymer with an opening at the center, of which both sides of the opening have L-shaped cross sections, respectively, one side of the L-shape contacts the inside of the side face member 10 and the other side of the L-shape contacts the bottom member 4; a gas sensor body which consists of a pair of electrodes and a solid electrolyte film or a separator, is located in the opening of the gasket 12, and the bottom face thereof contacts the bottom member 4; and a metal lid member 18 which contacts the top face of the gas sensor body. The lid member 18 includes a ring-like projection 40 which extends along the axis direction at the side thereof, the tip of the side face member 10, the tip of one side of the gasket 12, and the tip of the projection of the lid member 18 air-tightly contact one another, and all of the three kinds of tips are not in parallel with the surface of the bottom member 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
