<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of activating an application which is used in a mobile terminal device for a relatively short time but frequently. <P>SOLUTION: A preliminarily registered application out of applications installed in a mobile terminal device can be activated in response to a holding-down operation of a shutter button on the mobile terminal device and can be terminated in response to releasing the holding-down operation.
