The invention relates to a device for connecting two components (10, 14), such as two tool parts. The first component (10) comprises a cylindrical fitting pin (12) and a ring surface (22) protruding radially beyond said fitting pin (12), while the second component (14) comprises a cylindrical fitted bore (16) for receiving the fitting pin (12). A tensioning mechanism contains a clamping bolt (28), which is movably arranged in a transverse bore (26) of the fitting pin (12), and two diametrically opposed retaining elements (34, 36) in the second component (14), which are seated with a respective outer or inner cone at the end face against a respective complementary outer or inner cone of the clamping bolt (28) and are tensioned thereto during the tensioning process in a wedge-like manner. According to the invention, the inner cone and/or outer cone of the clamping bolt (28) and/or one of the retaining elements (34, 36) comprise two substantially truncated cone-shaped contact sections (40', 40", 44', 44", 42', 42", 46', 46") which are arranged coaxially at an axial distance from each other and can become effective either individually or together during the tensioning process. |
