<p>The method involves pressing a textile substrate against a previously varnished support using a press in order to obtain a fingerprint. The substrate is withdrawn for eliminating a bare metal fingerprint. A prepared decorative element is dipped in a chemical solution to engrave the fingerprint of the substrate so as to protect the support. The prepared decorative element is withdrawn when engraving is completed according to desired results. The decorative element is rinsed with water and cider vinegar. Residual soft varnishes are withdrawn from the decorative element.</p>
