<p>A method and device for preparing and feeding digital-printed signatures (2) to a machine (5), whereby a central portion of a flat element, defined by at least one digital-printed sheet (3) and fed onto a supporting surface (21), is raised and inserted between the jaws (31) of a gripping device (25), leaving two lateral portions (35), on opposite sides of the central portion, of the flat element open and resting on the supporting surface (21); and the two jaws (31) are clamped to form a signature (2), which is kept open, resting on the supporting surface (21), and is transferred, open, onto a saddle conveyor (4), which is contiguous to the supporting surface (21) and is an input conveyor of the machine (5).</p> |
