PURPOSE: A metal rib steel pipe for preventing water leakage is provided to prevent soil contamination due to the outflow of foreign materials and the leakage of water because silicon sealants are injected in bent portions to firmly couple a lock seam portion. CONSTITUTION: A metal rib steel pipe for preventing water leakage comprises fish hook-shaped bent portions(200) and a lock seam portion(110). The fish hook-shaped bent portions oppositely bent each other are formed in both edges of a galvanized iron sheet. One bent portion is hung on the other bent portion to form a space of the bent portions. After sealants(250) are firstly injected in the space of the bent portions, both bent portions are vertically pressed by a pressing roller. The sealants are secondarily injected between inner and outer joints of the bent portions to form the lock seam portion.
