<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device with diffusion function of high light use efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 100 includes a primary light source 110 emitting primary light, a diffusion member 150 for diffusing the primary light and converting it into diffusion light, a reflection part 143 for performing specular reflection or diffusion reflection of the diffusion light and converting it into reflection light, and an emission part 142 for emitting the reflection light to the outside.
