<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a liquid crystal display device, and a liquid crystal display device, capable of reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A power source IC 10 adjusts the frequency of a clock signal output from an EXT terminal so that a desired voltage is input to a VFB terminal. The power source IC 10 outputs the clock signal when a control signal (CNT) input to an OE terminal is on. A control section 31 turns the control signal (CNT) on only during a period of time when some margin is allowed until completion of charging to pixels. Since the control section turns the control signal (CNT) off once the period of time ends, an analogue voltage (VDDA) is output only during an initial period of time in one horizontal period of time while the analogue voltage is not output in the subsequent periods of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
