<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an ignition delay of fixed combustion, since the fixed combustion always discharges an exhaust toxic substance (including blow-by gas) as incomplete combustion, when the temperature variation of compressed air in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine inevitably causes the ignition delay by blunting reaction between fuel and combustion air. <P>SOLUTION: This electromagnetic treating method of steam in the combustion air excites a water molecule of the steam in the combustion air. The electromagnetic wave treating device of the steam in the combustion air includes a base material, a heat shield body installed in the base material, an irradiating body arranged on the heat shield body and constituted of ceramics for irradiating an electromagnetic wave toward the combustion air, and a pocket for housing the irradiating body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
