LIGHTING FIXTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lighting troubles of a fluorescent lamp 10 which is used at a salt-damaged area and is arranged under the outdoor eaves directly exposed to sea breeze and not exposed to rain.

SOLUTION: The waterproof lighting fixture where a waterproof socket is used but a windproof tube is not originally arranged is improved to be a waterproof and windproof lighting fixture. The waterproof and windproof lighting fixture includes: a circular cylindrical packing 16 whose one end is fitted into a circular recessed section 25 of the fixture socket 21; a circular windproof packing 17 fitted into an inner periphery of the windproof packing 16 and in contact with an outer periphery of the fluorescent lamp 10; the windproof tube 30 for covering the vicinity of the fluorescent lamp 10, whose end is mounted on the outer periphery of the windproof packing 17; and a waterproof cap 122 engaged with a screw groove of the fixture socket 21 and fixing the cylindrical packing 16 on the fixture socket 21.
