<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cycle path detection device which automatically detects a user specification-dependent multi-cycle path in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-cycle path detection device 10 includes: a logic verification part 11 which performs logic verification on the basis of RTL data or a net list, and a user authentication pattern used for RTL simulation; a start-point/end-point data comparison part 12 which specifies a path of a semiconductor integrated circuit as a specific path on the basis of a result of the logic verification, and compares a data value at the start point of the specific path with a data value at the end point; a data width minimum value extraction part 13 which targets data, as data on 0 or 1 propagating through the specific path, having a data width corresponding to the number of cycles of a clock signal, and extracts a data width minimum value indicative of the minimum number of cycles targeting data on the basis of a data comparison result obtained by the start-point/end-point data comparison part 12; and a multi-cycle number determination part 14 which determines the number of multiple cycles of the specific path according to the data width minimum value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
