摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a required diversity effect with a reduced standby time to receive a radio signal transmitted from a radio terminal through a plurality of sub-station devices. <P>SOLUTION: A master station device 20 comprises: combination detection means 26 for periodically outputting a radio signal having reception power exceeding a threshold from among identical radio signals transmitted from an identical radio terminal transmitted through each of a plurality of sub-station devices; for the radio signal output from the combination detection means 26, soft decision maximum ratio composition means 27 for outputting likelihood by performing maximum ratio composition; decoding means 28 and 29 for decoding and outputting the likelihood output from the soft decision maximum ratio composition means 27; and using an error detection code included in the outputs of the decoding means 28 and 29, frame check means 30 for deciding whether or not reception is successful, and for notifying the combination detection means 26 of successful reception if the reception is successful.
