<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus that enables a user to start talking without performing a call answering operation. <P>SOLUTION: A portable remote terminal 10 includes: a vibrator 26 which starts an operation of imparting prescribed vibration to the terminal in response to an incoming call event; a call processing circuit 14 which starts call processing in response to at least a call answering operation; an acceleration sensor 28 which repetitively detects the acceleration of the terminal; and a CPU 22. The CPU 22 repetitively computes the quantity of vibration of the terminal caused by the vibrator 26 on the basis of the value detected by the acceleration sensor 28, and determines that the terminal is gripped with a hand on the basis of change in the computed value. The CPU further starts call processing without waiting a call answering operation by controlling the call processing circuit 14 when the CPU determines that the terminal is gripped with a hand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
