<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient bathtub stool efficiently used when a user gets in and out of a bathtub, and also when the user is in the bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: The bathtub stool 1 includes a supporting plate 30, a turning plate 50 disposed over the supporting plate 30, and a leg 10 for supporting the supporting plate 30. The turning plate 50 is turnably supported relative to the supporting plate 30 through a hinge 70. When the bathtub stool 1 is closed, the bottom surface of the turning plate 50 faces the upper surface of the supporting plate 30. From such a state, when the turning plate 50 is turned about the hinge 70, the bathtub stool 1 is brought into an opened state in which the upper surface of the supporting plate 30 is exposed upward. The height of the bathtub stool 1 is changed by the thickness of the turning plate 50 between the opened state and the closed state. When the bathtub stool 1 is used as a stool, the upper surface of the bathtub stool is raised in the closed state, and when the bathtub stool 1 is used as a chair, the upper surface of the bathtub stool is lowered in the opened state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
