PEDESTRIAN TERMINAL DEVICE, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND METHOD FOR RETRIEVING WALKING COURSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a walking course for enabling a pedestrian to cross a driveway to smoothly advance to a sidewalk of the opposite side.

SOLUTION: A pedestrian terminal device 1 retrieves a walking course and notifies a pedestrian H of the retrieved walking course. The device 1 acquires signal information about a display time of light color of a traffic signal 13 installed ahead in an advancing direction of a sidewalk 31 on which the pedestrian H walks. The device determines a walking course whose cost needed to cross a driveway 32 and advance to a sidewalk 33 of the opposite side is a minimum. When there are at least two walking courses for crossing the driveway 32 in parallel with the sidewalk 31 with the pedestrian walking thereon to advance to the sidewalk 33 of the opposite side, a walking course is determined on the basis of the acquired signal information.
